Out in the city early in the morning to test new timelapse triggers before leaving for Mt.Fuji tomorrow morning. I love early mornings, the empty streets without people. fresh cold crisp air, silence and peace. I actually prefer sunrises from sunsets and really enjoy shooting around 4 or 5am. Slowly packing gear for tomorrow morning, let us hope that the weather will hold up, and Fuji will be visible. I guess someone stayed at work over night, which is not really unusual in Japan. I changed all tones in the image, and redesigned it from scratch in photoshop. With all amazing photo editing tools that we have at out disposal, one can have lots of fun and push the creativity in any direction that seems fit. I am in love with the place, there are so many great spots and perspectives that I feel like a kid in a candy store. I will have the whole place open for capturing amazing images of splendid Tokyo architecture. Very excited, cant wait! 5:30 am in Tokyo and I am out with my gear chasing some steel and glass shots of Tokyo architecture. It has been a while since I actually had time for my private photography, but if I don't do it every now and then I would go insane. This area of Tokyo is fantastic for abstract architecture photography, some great black and white shots, especially the long exposure surreal fine art with smudgy clouds and lots of movement surrounding absolute stillness (or steelness if you will). Half of the reason for me roaming there was to find interesting places and angles for film making. Film making business is based on similar concept and rules as photography but it offers a different and perhaps more engaging way of perceiving certain things or scenes. So, I begun my research and studies of the film genre and assembled my first film making rig. You can expect some new cool ideas and visual feasts appearing on my sites in the near future. Recently I have been also studying the recording and processing sound, film editing and even special effects. Now it's time to go out and have some fun.
