I love visual arts, and being a multi genre artist makes it even more fun, as I can blend various types of art together, to create something unique and unexpected. Here is a photo that I took today during private photography workshops. I was giving some tips on exploiting various metering modes in the camera, and when I saw this sunset over Tokyo Harbor came up with an idea of de-focusing completely and snapping a blurry photo. I knew that I will add a one of my Japanese calligraphy works to it, and I exactly knew how will I post process the photo in photoshop. I actually saw this complete image before I pressed the shutter. This is one of great examples, how important is to know which direction you will go with your photo in editing, so then you know how you need to take it when you are out there shooting.
